I know its nearly impossible without having to wait so long for hair to grow back. My real hair color is black and it is kind of blondish brown now but I miss my old color. I do not want to dye it again cuz it makes my hair so weak and unhealthy. do I just have to wait?

Well I know it's a pain but you could try the new color rinses that are out. They have no peroxide in them so they won't damage your hair, but you have to keep reapplying every few weeks. They work pretty well but are not permanent, this will give your hair time to recover so you can recolor with a permanent color later on. Good luck and I hope this is helpful.

You don't have to wait, but you might have to spend a little more money. I would suggest visiting a stylist to return it to it's natural color. The chances of damaging your hair by you dying it back to black yourself is too high.

Also, a week or so before you dye it back, be sure to use a leave-in conditioner to help strengthen the hair as much as possible. Make sure you massage it well into your roots.

NO!! you dont have to wait...lightening the hair makes it weak, staining it back does not, when it is done correctly. good luck
