Unfortunately, no. Once hair is damaged you have to cut it off or the hair will keep splitting up to the root.

Use a pro shampoo and conditioner. Get prevalent trims. you likely nevertheless have some damaged hair left, even after your haircut. you'll in basic terms ought to shop getting your hair trimmed each 6-8 weeks. that's not that undesirable. In 8 weeks, your hair grows on accepted, an inch, so get a a million/4 inch taken off, and also you're starting to be out your hair from the too short layers, and trimming off the damaged damaged stuff.

You are going to have to get your hair trimmed to begin with but then use the following tip I got from my hairdresser and you'll be amazed at how easy it is to keep them at bay.
when in the shower, wash hair first and after rinsing put lots of conditioner on your hair so it has time to soak in while you wash. Then BEFORE you get out of the shower, use a wide tooth comb and comb your hair out with the conditioner still in it. Remember to comb from the bottom up - that tends to get any tangles out without breaking the hair. I have long hair and found this worked great! I purchased a large tooth comb with a hook on it and keep it on my shower curtain rod so it's always at hand.
Unfortunately you're going to have to get it cut first (it actually does grow faster then) but if you follow this tip, you'll find you get very few split ends in the future.

I reached a point in my life where my hair pretty much stopped growing. One day I met a lady,I believe in her 80's with beautiful hair. I asked her what she used. she said Maine & Tail shampoo & coditioner. I now only use that, my hair is now half way down my back( I now have to have somebody shave my back every day - Just kidding.) and often get compliments on my hair. Ok, Im' a man, so you readers can have fun with the comments. I can take it and promise not to hit you with my purse. You can find Maine & Tail in the "pet" department at Walmart, "And other Fine stores!"

The only way to "fix" split ends is to cut them off and start over? Think about it, your hair has split in two-what is going to make it one again?
After you cut them off, you are starting off fresh so to speak.
Use a good shampoo and conditioner that "fits" your hair--dry-oily-permed-damaged....
Never use a comb-use a vent brush
If the comb has wide "teeth" that will be ok
If your hair is hard to brush thru when wet, get a spray on leave in conditioner, dont rip thru your hair

you'll have to trim it, that's the only way to get rid of them... if it's really bad, like splits along a great length of your hair, I'd reccomend a dramatic shorter cut and then maintain it a little better next time, if you keep it regularly trimmed, you won't have to worry about major problems like this...

Firstly, do you straighten it? Cause I straighten mine and I tend to get quite a few split ends. I often need to go for a trim to get rid of them. If you straighten it try using some straightening spritz (Nicky Clarke is great). It prevents damage to your hair when straightening it!

Well you have to cut them off first because you can't unsplit them but after you cut your hair try not using blow dryers and straightners and stuff like that so much and try one of those weekly deep conditioning things to keep your hair nice n healthy
