Like instead of it being straight all the time I want to try something new. How can I make it curly if I have a perm?

Yess I mean a STRAIGHTENING perm. How can I make it curly?!?

She has a RELAXER which in the black community is referred to as a "perm", it straightens the hair as opposed to a caucausian "perm" which uses rollers with the chemical to spiral the hair. So now that we are all educated, use mouse and clear gel as well as a little oil while your hair is wet to get the look you want. Any curly hair products will bring out the natural curl pattern of your hair, but you will need to start trimming that relaxer out of your hair slowly. Have a good one!

A perm is curly. That is what it is. A single hair being flat will curl naturally, a round hair will fall straight.

well this may sound crazy but, don't take care of your hair for like a week, then the perm suddenly wears of little by little. Then curl your hair with a curling iron, and in no time you will have curly healthy hair.
NOTE: Once You Have Started To Curl Your Hair, Start Back Taking Care Of Your Hair!!!!!!!!

If you have a perm it will be curly, that is what a perm does. Maybe you should reword your question I'm not really sure what you are asking.

Use a good curling iron and some molding or sculpting putty.
Got2be has some good products you could use for this.
I think she means a straightening perm.

Use those pink foam curlers over night in your hair....roll it up wet and apply mousse

with an iron, wont happen any other way especially if your hair is relaxed...good luck
