He has a fit when we get within a block of shop. Kicks and screams during process. I've had people want to call DHR because of how I hold him to get these reluctant stylists to do a half-way job for a 100 percent tip.

big compass rose on top of it. ANd let that be it!!

She is into fortune-telling, you see, and Tarot Cards and all that stuff. Crazy but she give good head so I don't say much, you know?

RIght now she is bugging me about whether "North" (N) should be over her forehead or "South" (S). I can't tell where it makes any difference but she wants others' opinions as part of her karma's speaking to her--whatever that means.

Ideas, anyone? (I guess this comes under "hair" and "beauty and style"--I don't know about these things. Some hippie who lives under our sidewalk except when it's raining told me to try Answers! for an answer. Sounded cool to me, you know?

i got a new haircut, a big one, i had hair past my shoulders and now it looks.. kinda like my avatar thing. Anyways all my friends that are older tha nme or that are girls say i look taller and alot older but all my friends my age that are guys(except a few) say i look manly and are VERY mean to me about it. I'm not gonna lie, what they say hurts me alot. usually i can think of comeback really quick, but here i have noo idea soo i need something to tell them, any ideas?

For school in September, I was wondering what hair style I should have.

I'm 13 and it has to be completly tied back (school rules or we get detetion :{ and I have already tried a pontail, bunches, and two plaits. It has to be something not to fancy and it can't take me longer than 10 minutes to do!!!

I have my hair kind of shaped but not layered.

i got 360 waves, and after about 3 weeks, my hair starts to get long and gets real curly and the waves almost look gone. i hate when this happens. what could i do to help the harshness and the curlyness? a relaxer every now and then? what?

About an hour ago, I was having my recently razored-to-death hair styled by a girl with really neat, almost punky hair, that I liked (which is why she was styling my disaster!) She said that sometimes her hair garnered her a lot of attention, some of it negative. I know the feeling, because I had a pretty funky 'do before I foolishly had it all cut off a few days ago.
So, what I want to know, why do people get all upset because others choose to do something not quite "main-stream" with their hair? That's ridiculous. I'm a hard-working, contributing member of society; I teach high school and have a good relationship with my students and my school; I'm a fairly intelligent person; I've been able to get outside the USA and know other places and cultures; I am positively conservative in most aspects of my life (no drugs, drinking, or one-nighters); I just choose to have "funky" hair. Why is that a problem? I don't get it!
