my friend accidentally got a black ball point pen mark on her purse. she has a tan leather purse and the pen left about a 2 inch black mark. any suggestions??

the boyfriend and i went to jc penney today to look for engagement ring.we did see one that we liked and the sale was too good to be true!


it's 10K white gold, 3 stone 1/2 CT. T.W diamond ring.
the original price was $996 but they're having a"billion dollar sale" that occurs 2x a year so we get 30% and then additional 15% off and so the price goes down to $195.99 it is very similar to this ring:

Are socks, tights, etc. worn with ballet flats in the winter? I always wear them without, but am not sure as the temperature will be getting colder. If a sock is worn, should it be the same color as the shoe, or the color of my pants or skin? Any ideas?

I don't spend a ton of money (in Hollywood ideals, anyway) on handbags. The average is around $100 or so. However, they seem to only last a season or maybe two before they show signs of "age". The leather usually looks almost like it is cracked. I have a beautiful, red Hobo bag and the bottom looks a little scuffed, especially on the bottom corners of the bag. Any ideas? I'd like to get at least 3 solid seasons for each bag - not just one good season. Any ideas? I do usually spray them with a weatherproof spray, but that is all. Help!

Okay so I'm a girl and we are doing 50's day at my highschool but I don't want to do the whole poodle skirt thing. Uhmm Here is what I am thinking about for 50's day.
Cuffed up capris, White polo with the collar popped, red bandana rolled into a headband, those one shoes the girls wore back then that were like white and navy blue and flat, wear some big gold hoops and do my hair in big soft curls.

I am new here, as my family transfered from the US. I was shopping the other day and I noticed how short the shirts were. Then I noticed that men in the UK pull their pants up real high. Why do they do this? In the US, the men wear their pants below their stomach. Americans wear their pants at the same height as the waistband of men's bikini briefs or pair of speedos.
