Fashion & Accessories - June 2006

I have always liked wearing short shorts---especially "daisy dukes." In fact they are my "signature" summer style--when I practically live in them. I have the legs to wear them--but am wondering whether it is appropriate for anyone other than teenagers. I have noticed that longer shorts seem to be more common this year.

Tomorrow I'm going shopping. I need to buy a swimsuit (one piece or tankini) and some shorts or capris. I have about $65 to spend. Where can I go to get these? I'm 14 years old, 5'8" and size 8 or 9.
Any place but Goodwill, please. I already tried there. The event is for my summer camp, starting in a week.

I really love American Eagle jeans because they fit me so well and I love the material they're made out of. But I really don't want to stick to one brand. Are there any good places or brand of jeans that you really love and would recommend? But at a reasonable price? I'd prefer to only spend $40 at the most, but I still want to hear from you even if it's more expensive. I try looking at Ross or TJ Max because it's cheaper, but most of their jeans don't fit petites or are made out of that uncomfortable stretchy material.

Has any one heard of this clothing line?I saw this lady at a water park and the skirt was so pretty. It was brown/ beige tye die. It looked like it could have been some sort of micro fiber material. She had the top of the skirt folded over and I think the tag read green dragon. Didnt have time to stop and chat- with four kids at the time!

She has only just turned two and I was just wondering if anyone out there has had anything similar happen to them and what they did about it. My daughter is beautiful, we live in Australia and she is African-American/NativeAmerica... and stands out cause she doesnt look like other kids here. I have been asked before if she does modelling and told that I should get her into it, but I am very skeptical about the whole "child working" thing. She is a legitimate agent and has asked for no money just that I give her a call and arrange a time for test shots and she said that I wouldnt be paying for these. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
