I have always liked wearing short shorts---especially "daisy dukes." In fact they are my "signature" summer style--when I practically live in them. I have the legs to wear them--but am wondering whether it is appropriate for anyone other than teenagers. I have noticed that longer shorts seem to be more common this year.

Yes they are just dont wear them to school or somewhere like a family reounioun

As long as you are petite (slender) and have great legs, go for it. I used to wear them all the time but then I put on an extra 15 pounds so I couldn't do it...now I'm back in shape and I wanna show off for the summer. Just make sure your shorts are tasteful, not too short or tight, and your buttcheeks are covered. There's a fine line between sexy and trashy.

I wear them but they cover every thing they need to and i think if you dont have the body then dont wear them.I like going to the beach or sailing in short shorts.

they aren't really in style now unless it is a summer related activity... boating, beach, lake, etc. Longer shorts are more in style.
the short skirts and shorts, even on teenagers, look really trashy.

Yeah their back instyle. BUt, not the ones from the 90's but the 70's version. U've seen all the celebs wearin them.

They are never in style if you are anything larger than a size 4.

if you talking about booty shorts, i don't think that's appropriate. i guess it depends on your body type
