What's the best DIY [Do-It-Yourself] project you've ever done?
knitted a blanket? made a shirt into a skirt? drawer pulls as key hangers? etc.

I'd have to say moving away from home on my own, while my husband was at war...I'm not sure if that would classify as "do-it-yourself" projects, but it certainly was a project....and I did it by myself, so I'm counting that....:)

Made a pair of pinstripe pants and 2 vintage ties into a really cute halter dress!

My mom gave me my grandma's old dresser for my baby boy to use. Well, we stripped it, sanded it and painted it. It went from an old, dark stained piece of furniture to an awesome red dresser that I put all my son's clothes in. It will be a special piece of furniture in our family for years to come.

Today I made a fence for the side yard (48" wide X 5 feet high). My dogs broke the old one, so I bought wood, cut it, nailed it, etc...I am very proud of it. My son didn't think I could do it, but I did........I have the blisters to prove it....LOL

Helped my Uncle build his house, brick laying and decorating and everything. I only presume building a house is included as DIY because we did it our selves, me, my uncle and my dad.

Wrote a book for my daughter and made a quilt for my son from all of his favorite cloths he grew out of.

My husband and I remodeled and added a room to our house. The only part we had any help on was our roof, and the help was from family members.

made our own leather headboard ( synthetic leather ).
but its still awesome.
