I just bought a flat iron. I have very thick, wavy hair. I want it as straight as I can get it without scorching it to death. What are some products that I can use to protect my hair before I use the flat iron?? Thanks in advance.

My mom will not let me straighten my hair, she says that it is beautiful the way it is. Well i hate it. She says that it damages your hair to. Well i say that if you use damege help shampoo and conditioner than everything will be okay. She says maybe though. Can you guys give me some sites that show that straightning is not that bad for her hair. If she thinks that i did reseach she might think that i really want to straighten my hair. I'm looking for a good cologne to buy to help me out with the ladies -- I'm 14, and currently I have Story by Paul Smith. Is this good? I've heard Jake from Hollister is good, but that sounds too cliche and seems to me it's recommended by brainwashed Hollister girls. If it really does smell that great, I apologize. I also only use Axe as a deodorant, not cologne -- Axe smells lame, in my opinion. (I invested in some odorless underarm deodorant to bring out the cologne) Also, how many spritzes are appropriate, and where? A spray in front of me after drying off in the shower, wait for the scent to set into my skin, and then once after all of my clothes are on sounds logical to me. I have brown hairs with blond and red in it...sounds ugly but i luv my hair! Anywayz...i have side bangs and choppy layers that have now grown out longer so now its like i just have long layers and my hair is about an inch past my shoulders! Thankss to all who contribute! How do I color my hair into medium blonde without ending with brassy reddish tones?
I have med brown natural hair and it was highlighted and the highlights are now growing out. I've heard of this product at Sally's beauty supply that says "take the red out" or something like that. You're supposed to put 5 drops of it into your hair dye.....has anyone ever heard of this? Would this work if I add that to a blonde shade or should I just strip the color and dye it? I've heard if you are going to a lighter color like from brown to blonde then you need to strip the color out first then dye it. If I strip the color what product do I need to use? Can u recommend any or give me any tips?
I had thought maybe using the new feria hi- lift browns from loreal but I would really rather go to about a medium blonde

In nearly every teen/fashion magazine, people are talking about Brazilian waxes, and shaving and etc. I personally have recently gotten a Brazilian wax, and not only is it more comfortable, but its more fun. (especially if your one of those women who likes thongs)
