In nearly every teen/fashion magazine, people are talking about Brazilian waxes, and shaving and etc. I personally have recently gotten a Brazilian wax, and not only is it more comfortable, but its more fun. (especially if your one of those women who likes thongs)
I want to know if there's something unhealthy or abnormal about this because some friends told me its alot easier to get infected.So....?

A brazilian wax is good. That won't cause any infections. In fact, it should help to prevent infections because doctors say pubic hair contains bacteria. Bacteria is what can cause an infection. Shaving can cause infection too. It depends on what kind of shaving you are talking about. There is dry shaving with powder, and there is wet shaving with shaving cream. Shaving in the shower or tub makes it easier to get an infection because that's where a lot of bacteria is. I recommend dry shaving with the Seiko Cleancut Shaver or some other electric shaver instead, but you could always stay with waxing. It lasts a lot longer than shaving. A brazilian wax can last as long as a month.

I know its the style, but I find it a major turn off. There is nothing sexy or hot about a grown woman who is trying to look like a 10 year old. So I would call it abnormal. Why in the world would you want to go through that effort, pain and expense to take off what God gave you to look like a woman. I cant understand.

Are you asking ........Is it easier to get infections from the shaving? or easier because the hair is gone?

That is what the hair is there for -- to catch the germs before they get to you.

That said I shave mine too

Just make sure you keep everything clean
