my skool is doing a play high school musical.I am a student and in the drama club.My teach said to waer something that tells people u are in the club and a friend of sharpay.

Wearing a beret and mostly black is a quintessential "drama student" costume. But if I remember the movie, I think the drama students all wore loud colors and crazy clothing. Maybe the hat, a backstage t-shirt (a lot of plays make t-shirts for their crew), and some pins or bracelets for environmental/amnesty causes? Usually drama students are stereotyped as very artsy liberals.

I would wear something from a musical- like a Fiddler on the Roof t-shirt, from a Broadway musical or something. Wear comfy clothing and the beret would be cool.
There are types of drama kids- there's the backstage people, the stars, the techies. I would focus in on one and decide.
As for going to look like Sharpay- sparkles galore! Don't be afraid to wear heels! Go for butterflies and flowers. Girly.

wow...you teach should have given you more direction that that.....i hope your having a dress rehersal BEFORE that way you have som time to change your costume in case it doesnt look right. something like the piano-playmaker girl wears. colored pants, layers, quick up-do. but make it a tad more....trendy looking. like it matches, and nothing can go with anyhting else. preppy. there you go, preppy. accesories, like beads are good, but not silver or gold, as the stage lights will reflect. tennis shoes like converse definatly. stripes are good too. take out the preppy and accesories aspect, and you'll get more of the drama look.....hmmm you kinda got to chose. sharpay or drama.

hahahaha you're doing HS musical. My sister's theatre production group is putting on that play in two weeks. Radio disney is even coming out to sponsor it. Its suppose to be amazing. Hope yours goes okay. And I would wear normal clothes, nothing to upstage sharpay.
