I'm a sucker for 'kind of cute'--it screams innocent and sweet.

well i dont like either "very pretty" is childish and "kind of cute" isnt cute at all so dont say "u r hott" because then u just sound like a "i go for looks and nothing else" say something like ur beautiful and tell her how u feel about her inside and out!

i definitely think that ur kinda cute is the bigger compliment because it shows that u feel about the person but ur not trying to be a suck up... its sweet wen ppl say that. u know instead of just blurting out ur really pretty its sexy to be kind of shy and take it sloww...

If someone told me, "You are kind of cute," I would squeal and probably think they're cute too (if they are), and it'll seem more out there, y'know? If someone said, "You are very pretty," I would feel too much romance coming on. I'm not all about romantic scenes with me in 'em. I prefer cute then pretty anyway. I ain't pretty. :-)

I like, "You are very pretty" But what gets me is when a guy says "You're extremely beautiful" I hate it when guys say you're sexy bc you know all they want is to get in your pants. When they say that you're pretty or beautiful it means that they really mean it deep down and that you're not just another set of boobs and a**.

always always always go with pretty .... better yet beautiful....if a guy tells u ur kind of cute...it means that he doesnt thinnk ur at all atractive but just doesnt want to be mean...but if a guy goes ur very pretty right away it shows that hes into you :-)

you are very pretty, i think only because for the cute one, you are only saying " kind of" and for the pretty one, you are saying "very"

"you are very pretty", obviously... who would want to be KIND OF cute. thats like saying your ugly but kind of cute. same thing with your "kind of" pretty.

"you are kind of cute" is like telling a little girl...."awwwwwww, you are kind of cute." So "you are very pretty" means something more to me.

Pretty, never liked cute, implies youth and sorta bouncy, I prefer tall and sleek and all grown up.
