I love pigtails myself but untill lately I only have been wearing them at home when its too hot because I've always kept my hair in a style to hide my ears as they are really big and stick straight out and totally take over and change the way I look. But my lover loves me in high pigtails so much that I now wear them all the time for him and I just promised I'd even wear them up when he's not around. I'm starting to wonder if he just wants me to look funny so boys don't flurt with me because he's pretty jealous. I went out with two of my girlfriends clubbing the other night and usually I get a lot of attention but all I got just stares while my girl friends got lots of attention. All I got was some drunk telling me I had the biggest ears he'd ever seen. I do love my relationship and really I don't wont boys to flurt with me. Should I just get used to it and try and accept my ears the way they are pigtail for me a crime against beauty and good hair sense?

I'm going to Virginia Beach in five months and I want to protect my skin. I am very pale with blonde hair and blue eyes. I don't tan at all, I just burn. I've heard that sunscreen with an spf of over 35 doesn't work because companies just label it higher to mark up the price. I've also heard that UV rays can get through regular fabric. I had a chemistry teacher who told me that sunscreen doesn't work at all. How do I protect my skin? My prom is about a week after the trip. I don't want to be sunburned! Also, how can I get smooth, nice looking skin for the trip and prom?

i don't know what's happening,. I used a relaxer about a year ago and it was fine but lately it keeps falling out and the scalp gets dry and when ever i use scalp oil it gets itchy. i visited my doc. but no skin problem. so can anyone help me pls .(african american)

My boss always put me and my co-workers down when we buy something of value. She always find a way to say that it's not worth much or she has something better. I really don't care of what she has but I think that it's not nice to always try to bring our joy down. For instant I bought myself a pair of j-lo jeans and she said that i wasted my money because they are not the real thing. Last week a coworker got a daddy yankee pair of shoes and she said they weren't the real thing either. What is up with her? Why can't she just keep her mouth shut.

i'm bored of my hair and want to change it a bit. ok so i am indian, have dark-ish skin, black hair, dark brown eyes. my hair is naturally curly but i straighten it with straightening irons like everyday. i have never dyed my hair before but i want to do u think dark brown will suit me? if not, what colour? and should i have highlights or dye the whole hair and is it really bad for my hair or is it ok?
also ive heard that dying black hair is really hard?

I have bleached blonde hair, and i like it to be as white as possible, with no brassiness. I get my roots done every month, and i get it toned at the same time. They usually use L'Oreal Professional toner number P0 or P01, which looks great for a week, then fades. Its so expensive to keep going back to the hairdresser for more toners- then I saw in Sally hairdressing supply shop you can buy the toner direct from them. my question is, what quantity do i need to mix the toner with the developing fluid? And, am i mad to even think of attempting this myself? i would be grateful for answers/suggestions from hairdressers only please. Thanks.
