Beauty & Style - 22 December 2006

My hair is a dirty blonde color, very frizzy, and extremely curly, but flat on top. How can I style it so that it looks better. Any tips to blow drying?

I don't want to wear a lot of makeup, but a little would be nice. I have brown thickish longish hair a thinish face, no pimples, (well my nose gets them sometimes) and i need something that i can put on quick for school, and that my mom wont tell me to take it off. Can you tell me what make-up to use, and how? Thanx!

longer layers on top, shorter inside

OR

short on top, longer inside

which is more:
1.low maintence
2. versatile

now i have shorter layers on top and it poofs out at the side. i dont have half an hour to style hair and i dont use straihteners/

I'm a guy and I have I hair cut to a normal short length.

My hair strands are too thick and I have tooo many strands.
I have to have it "thinned" with thinning shears at the hair dressers, other wise I'd have very bulky mushroom hair...
I don't like thinning because it means I'll have shorter hair poking out of longer strands...

Not having straight hair doesn't help either. They're not curly but randomly bent at different lengths..

Would there be any way to recuce the thickness of my hair stands or reduce the number of strands?

I'm really pale.....i usually turn a nice dark beige in the summer, though. but in the winter i get pale and my mom won't let me buy the rub-on tanning thing, or won't let me get a spray tan. I wear cotton white socks usually the kind my husband wears. I always feel like other women are wearing something similar but the female version. I always saw my mom wearing my dad's and so that 's what I did.
