Women only. What kind of socks do you wear on a daily basis?

Question

I wear cotton white socks usually the kind my husband wears. I always feel like other women are wearing something similar but the female version. I always saw my mom wearing my dad's and so that 's what I did.

I know what to wear with dress or formal wear but what about everyday, sneaker, boot wear?

You can do better than white sports socks. They are a bit Micheal Jackson in the 80s. There are loads of cool patterned socks around. Still cotton but thinner than sports ones. Have a look in you nearest department store. You could experiment with knee socks if you like showing off your legs

I wear knee high socks almost everyday. I have some black, some purple argyle, red and black striped, green and black stripped (good for mixing with the red/black), and the occasional multicoloured toe sock. Toe socks can fold under, so you have to pick the right kind of shoe. Knee-highs are great with taller boots, clogs, regular shoes like converses, as well as skirts (which I wear everyday). They liven up wardrobes, but some normal coloured ones are good for those more serious moments. ^-^

I love over the knee socks. They come in all colors and some different lenghths. I wear some that only go over my knee and some that go furthur up that appear more like heavy tights. I never wear white socks though

If wearing slacks I normally wear 15 denier Knee highs as I find socks too bulky to wear with my shoes

well i wear colored cotton socks. but i also wear ankle socks but usually not in the winter. white socks are always good.

well from a womens point of view i would say most women wear ankle socks because when you wear shorts your socks don't show. they are the most comfortable too.

I wear silkies Q knee hi's and the opaued tights all in black it is stable and always the same quailty also plain black SAS'S tie shoes this is goot for every day or formal I'm a slave to plain and comfortable
