I took out my extensions lastnight with an oil. now i cant get the glue out and my hair is super oily. I even bought the shampoo to help take them out and it hasn't work. any suggestions

With all the sweat shops that around these days I find clothing getting cheaper and cheaper, especially at Target. I am seeing a wide variety of great clothing for alarmingly low prices. I have made clothes and sew them so I know the type of work that goes into garment making, but I feel that with the sweatshops that are around the fashion industry will not yeild a good job or career unless you outsource your work to Asia and such. I love design but I don't think it is possible to make it in the industry. What do you think? Is fashion a good career?

I don't really get it so many guys say they don't like those anorexic looking girls. But yet when I'm underweight I get hit on a lot more/ What is the deal? And how come older guys go for me if I'm on the low side of a healthy weight and if Im very light guys nearer my age go more for me??! I don't understand...
My best friend is near Nicole Richie skinny and every where we go guys hit on her. All my friends tell me that guys don't go for that... Are they jealous?

I'm 15. I've always been a tomboy. I'd like to start wearing some makeup. Not a whole lot, of course. I'm not sure how to tell my mom I want to start wearing makeup. She doesn't wear any, and I'm not sure if she ever has. We aren't that close either. I'd talk to my older sister and see if she would take me makeup shopping, but we aren't close at all. My other sister lives on the other side of the country, so I couldn't talk to her. I really need help to find things like concealer that match my skin tone. I use Garnier Fructis two-in-one and Dove conditioner together. I don't know if it's the weather, but my hair isn't that shiny and really not that "silky smooth".

I have dark brown, thick (5 layers), straight/wavy hair. What brands do you recommend? (Besides Suave--doesn't work with my hair.)

I have a friend at school who has light blonde hair. She keeps saying that "guys prefer blondes, it's scientific!" blah blah. My daughter has wild bushy wavy hair that she hates and always has tied up. I straightened her hair for her birthday party and she loved it so much she wants to keep it straight. I told not all the time as I am not sure this can damage her hair with her being so young.

I straighten mine all the time and my hair stays shiny and healthy, but not sure about her's.

Can anyone advise how safe/dangerous this is for her hair??
