In my lifetime nothing has got me more insults than my red hair but nothing else has got me so many compliments either! Now I've left high school all the insults have stopped and I'm gradually finding that a lot of men have a secret thing about red heads! As a red head you'll never fade into the background and a little bit of effort will make you look absolutely fabulous. Enjoy it.

When it comes to matters of true love, for most people, the idea of "types" go out the window. I always used to say I like my men tall, dark and handsome, but have only ever been out with blondes.
My boyfriend has lovely blonde hair, and recently, I came home from a long trip to find he had grown a beard....and his facial hair is a different colour - red! Not auburn, or dark blonde, but orange!! This little quirk makes me love him even more. Its not about hair colour - its about the person!

I think they're are jeolous. My best friend had the most beautiful red hair, thick, wavy and down to her waist but she still got all the nicknames and insults going. She just laughed at them. Also, 12 months ago, I started seeing a real ginger nut. And boy, he has turned out to be a real sex god so I ain't complaining about redheads! In fact, wish I'd known a few more if they're all like him! I'm not letting this one go if I can help it. Lol!

Trust me... you grow out it.
As you get older, people will loose those immature tendencies to poke fun at it. And more importantly, you will be a lot more comfortable with yourself and not even care.
I, and all 4 of my siblings have red hair of one shade or another... all were teased, and all are happily married, with beautiful kids, with sucessful careers, and all take a little pride in being a red head.
At some point in your life, you will enjoy being a little different, even if just on the surface.

this really gets on my nerves i think red heads are just as beautiful as ay one else blonde or brunette there is a girl i no and she has realy long ginger hair i personally i thik she is lovely looking and im not the only one who thinks this also i hate it when they say blondes are dumb and brunettes are boring no one ever stops to think how they might be hurting other people with there childish comment about there hair colour and looks xx

I heard somewhere that ginger haired people are more advanced than people with other coloured hair (i must just say i have brown hair!) and apparently in the future we'll all evlove to having ginger hair...I dont know if its true but sounds quite interesting!

I think that red is a nice colour, and it looks great. Well, think of it as a good thing. If people are making fun of you for something you think nice, then they don't think there's anything else wrong with you.

I agree with everyone else, red hair is beautiful. I think it looks great on both men and women...especially if it comes with the freckles! You should celebrate your gingerness, the rest of us just have boring bog-standard hair colours....

i'm a ginger. i used to have the piss taken a bit at school, but it never bothered me, and i think they could tell that, so it didn't last very long. i used to just say how clever they were! red headed women are hot! ignore the the insensitive assholes. or boot em in the jewels. (male or female!!)

I'm a natural redhead and i love my colour. My hair is long and it certainly turns heads. Wear colours to compliment your hair colour, this will highlight your eye colour and skin tone.
