I really want to try this National American Miss Pagent. I wanted to know if some has done this pagent or maybe another pagent, if so could you tell me how it was, like was it harder than it looks and stuff like that. Thanks if you can help me out!! (sorry this may not be under the right category)

i got it as a gift from my freind who got it somewhere i dont wehre in manhatten. he wouldnt tell me how much it was, so i was suspicious. it doesnt have a prada tag, it has a made in china tag. is there any possible way this isnt a fake? im scared to let him know he wasted a lot of money- please help! what can i look for in a phony or.and in a real one and why is prada.com just a picture of a girl with a bag?????

I'm a black male letting my hair grow out. I'm not a big fan of twist, cornrows, or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone has any good styles. I also wanted to know what would happen if you brushed or combed and afro down. Would it look really nice or at least decent. If anyone has pics of them combing or brushing down their afro, please post them to see if I like it. Oh, my mom wouldn't like it if I straightened my hair so...umm...I'm not sure if there are other styles out there, but thanks for those of you who answer.

I have short strawberry-blonde, auburn hair. I'm thinking of going blonde a la Marilyn Monroe, but I can't really afford it. I mixed some peroxide with some conditioner and left it on a strand for forty minutes, but there was no effect. How do you blonde your own hair?

Ok, I love fashion. I couldn't live with out it... I am contantly on the go and doing sports. I'm 5'3 and weigh 100 pounds. I hate the color pink and am open to any new trends. my friend needs help. This is her idea for an outfit for school:
Hiking boots
Too Short BOYS cargo jean pants
Thin plaid vest
white too-small tshirt
knee socks

AARGH she won't wake up! eighth graders do not wear those things!!! I drop hints but she doesnt get it!!!!!! She's nice, but she seriously needs help. She will not spend over $5 on a shirt and like $10 on jeans and she shops at WALMART! and gets handmedowns. She isn't poor at all! She has a problem.

I know this sounds snobby to say I think she needs a fashion consultant, but she is teased alot behind her back. She doesn't even realize it!!! What the heck am i supposed to do?
