I love antiques, and yesterday I think I found my best buy yet.I found a vintage pole ashtray for 1 dollar. Now out of all the ones I have seen before Ive never seen one like this.I would like to have an appraisal on it,or even just find out what time period it is from.If you would like to see it yourself I will be more than happy to post a link to a picture of it.If you have an idea where I can send a pic please let me know.THANKS!

I'm new to this, but does anyone know what medium I would use to make a mold from a stone. In other words, There is an old building with a beautiful design sculpted in to it. I want to copy this design. I know there is a material out there that I can press against the original design and make a mold of it and then cast the design in plaster. I just don't know what material I would use to do this without hurting the stone.... Help!!!

I need to buy a glue gun for an art project, and I was wondering what the difference is between glue guns that melt glue at high or low temperatures. I need to use glue on garbage bags and plastic bottles and other things, so will using a glue gun on low temp. prevent the plastic stuff from melting?

I have been looking every where in the internet but I can't find it. I am looking for a statue of a Fairy that my husband gave me back in 2003 but then he broke it cause he got mad with me. I went back to the store where he bought it but they didn't have it. The staue of the fairy was made of ceramic she was sitting down and touching her toes she was also wearing a thong and the statue was painted green no other colors added. I would really appreciate it if you guys helped me find it or if you gave me some online address where I may find or. Or maybe one of you guys has the fairy that I am looking for and you might want to sell it to me. This fairy statue means a lot to me. Please Help
