Take a look at eBay auctions under 'beads' and you might get an idea of what's out there, the prices, etc. Bead-making is quite popular these days, and there should be a bead society near you. Sometimes they hold sales in which you can participate.
Check the web to find out where your local society is.
This should point you in the right direction.

I am a glass beadmaker/lampwork bead artist. Have you tried ebay or justbeads.com? Also, are you registered for SRA (self representing artist) or ISGB (International Society of Glass Beadmakers). There are publications such as the Annealer magazine (also has an auction site) and Glass Line for glass artists of all kinds. Wetcanvas.com also has an active glass forum for discussing, showcasing, and advertising your glass work. Do you have a Glassartists.org site?

Ebay is quite slow with bead sales at the moment, but I know that it is a popular search for beads to search with the SRA tag.

From many discussions on Wetcanvas and Lampwork, etc. I know that those who make their money from beads do so from many avenues. They have personal sites, ebay or similar auctions, and do bead shows or art & craft shows. You have to have a constant presence. If you are just looking to make back the money for your materials then you may be satisfied with just auctions or online avenues. If you are looking to make this a full business, I suggest doing a lot of reading and really put yourself out there online and at shows.

Hey G Scott,

You can learn by observation. check the major sellers of beads, here is a Yahoo Search that shows some of them. When selling on E-bay, there are people selling a few at a time, and people selling quantities too.

Ebay is somewhat a cliche now too. Here are some other Art sites where you can post pictures of your beads, and sell. There are more like this, you just have to keep looking.
