i just saw a pic of my mate in black and white, EXCEPT for her dress, and fake blood, which still appeared red on the pic. i was asking her how she did that as i thought it really looked awesome, but she just won't spill.

can you do that straight on a digital cam, or do you need to install a programme on the computer to do that thing?

thanks

I am into photography, and I want to start doing this, but I'm unsure of how it works. I heard you need a special kind of software for it?

They were taken by my late parents. Scanning would take too long and scanners seem to be 35mm only, not 120 size and some glass plates.
I was thinking of building a light box and taking photos of them and then making them posative on photoshop. This would let me know which are the interesting ones. What sugestions do you have?

I have to explain two things. The first is that by "still look OK". I'm asking about maximum resolution or quality. Maybe it will be useful to mention something about those issues.

The other thing is about the unit measure, it will be good to have a measure with the "International System of Units". In this case is meters, but be free to move to centimeters if you like, but please specified this very precisely because it can a source of confusion.

I have this problem. I want to do some casual shots and women turn me down because they assume I want them to be nude. If I tell them I expect them to keep their clothes on it's as if they don't believe me.

The ones that agree get upset when I don't ask them to do nudes.

from the ladies. what would be a tactful reassuring way to ask you to let me take your portrait in a park.

That I bought at FYE, I want to know where the photographs on the poster were taken. The only information given at the bottom about the photographer is his name and the design website for the poster. I can't find anything on the photographer (Rich Strucke) how do I find out where the pictures were taken?

I would like to print some photos I took as big as possible. I have done some google searching to get some resolution guidelines, but the information I have found varies widely.

When printing smaller photos (up to 8x10), I generally like to have at least 300dpi. However, when printing what are considered "poster prints" (11x14 and up), the required, and even recommended, resolution for most printing services drops considerably (down to 150dpi in some cases).

I am concerned about final print quality. Does any one have experience with printing poster prints? I'd love to be able to englarge my photos as much as possible, but I don't want to lose quality and end up with a bunch of expensive colorful pieces of trash.

Thanks!

They claim to invite only select people based on their photographs. The fact that it cost $60 for a year makes me think it's mostly an attempt to get my money.
