The beauty is an special harmoniousness between what is out there and the person that is looking.

There is a lot of different theories and opinions about what is beauty. But over the years, we can be sure about some basics stuff. The first one is that beauty depend of society. There is no doubt about that, and anyone can prove this by looking the fact that in the nineteenth-century, being fat was part of what was consider to be beauty. Another fact about that is the beauty of any tribe (specially African or Brazilian) are very difference compared with the global and modern cultured that we are merge in to it.

Another important part of beauty, it is about where is it? inside or outside?. The first opinion is that beauty is outside, in the object that we observed, and this has some true. For example Claudia Schiffer or Brad Pitt are beauty because they have something special that is rare, that not everybody has. But there is a second opinion about this, that the beauty is inside ourselves, in the eye of the beholder. And this second opinion, believed or not have some true too. And this philosophy and scientific opinion have some fundamentals in cognition, about that the perception of the outside world depended of our physiology, and the most important teach is that "the perception is something that the brain build from the outside world, and of course, that build depend of the structure of the brain". You personally can check some basics stuff like that by figure that the typical draw or pictures of visual illusion, are not just illusion, there are like that, or even better we perceived like that because our structured is in some way special or it get the reality in some form.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Some prefer external looks, some prefer internal looks of humans & some like to adore it with nature & some with manmade things & it goes on & on with so many aspects. I prefer the inner beauty ( good at heart) than the outer or the so called external beauty.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is in the perception of the person. A woman maybe beautiful to you but to me, she is not. But real beauty resides from within. Genuine beauty is pureness of spirit and character. When these are present the person usually radiates the "beauty " in her external or physical looks.

Keats said "truth is beauty and beauty is truth". And some one else said"it's in the eye of the beholder". So, what's beautiful to you is beautiful based on your perceptions. I may see it entirely different.
