i want to know about the best photographer in world

2007-03-01 01:29:05 · 4 answers · asked by balimanab 1

I am a photographer with Digital slr gear. i would love to get into self employed photography, working from home. problem is i have no experience with this type of photography.
how could i build the skills? is it a good idea to do some for free (ie friends/family)? should i try to partner up with a photographer for a bit? should i start with "budget" packages to those that do not want to spend £800+ on a photographer and concentrate on the traditional style and build on my creativity?

i am a teenage amateur photographer, i would like to a new camera. the camerea i am using is a 7 megapixel compact. but it isnt what i hoped it would be. i am willing to spend from $200-$350. i want it to be durable, not fragile. i would also like it to have good lighting features ( although i know i can change the lighting on photoshop ). good outdoor pictures, as well as indoor. =)

thank you.

I thought entering competitions might focus my brain a little by giving me a bit of structure because at the moment i'm just snap happy and , still having an old film slr,i can never remember settings etc so my photography never improves.

The pictures are on glossy paper and were printed at a Walgreens.
I had to write information about the pictures on the back and I accidentally smudged ink on the front!

Is there anyway to remove the ink without ruining the picture?

We just got pictures from JCPenney and they are on "Kodak Professional" paper. I wanted to make a couple extra copies but everytime I scan and try to print or ANYTHING like that, it starts out fine and then gets these pink lines througout the picture. I know its not because of my printer because I can print any other scanned image just fine. I also tried to trick the pic by editing it, and also doing a print screen and copying the image twice but I get the same results. Any ideas??

I'm going to Kruger National Park in South Africa, how be should my zoom lens be for it? I have a 300mm one. Do I need a 500mm? I have no idea how close they get to animals...... Also the bigger the lens, does shaking affect it more/ Do people use a tripod with the 500mm and 300mm

I shoot a few weddings a year and I hate making the album. The most convenient way to get photos to the people is putting them online. I was interested in pictage.com until i saw their subscription prices. Since I don't shoot weddings very often its almost not worth it to pay that much money. Are there any similar websites to this I could use?

I have been throwing around the idea of getting a digital camera. Currently I take alot of 35mm pictures on a film SLR. I have been looking into getting a scanner that I can scan my negatives to my computers. I know that when you get your pictures developed you can get your pictures put onto a CD.

Looking for the pros and cons of both of these options and which would give me the best "picture"

Thank you
