I have been doing this huge art quiz. I have done most of it but there are a few questions left that are still puzzling me. I thought people here may be able to help. If you can then I shall be exceedingly grateful.

Who are the main painters in that style? Where can I find examples of what it looks like, preferably online?

The Painting has a "divot" from leaning against the corner of something in storage. Is there a way to remove the push mark without professional work?

Ideally a painting 80cm by 60cm. Would it be better to leave on the stretch or take it off and roll it up?

An image of a white cat sitting on the lap of a man wearing black trousers and a blue shirt. He is sitting next to a blonde haired lady dressed in a long black dress with a red scarf. There is a coffee table with white lillies in a tall vase. The french windows next to them are open and look out onto a balcony.............

It's part of a quiz and it's driving me crazy coz' I can't figure it out

I am an artist (painter) who has a full time job and health/dental insurance. I recently had an exhibit and sold a few paintings. Though I work as a web content copywriter, and I do occasionally sell some work, I have just found out that I must undergo very expensive dental work, of which my insurance will only cover about 20% of the cost. This will leave me with a bill of around $4,125.00. The work has to be done, I've avoided it for too long.

I was thinking about how I can afford to pay for this. It occured to me that I have many drawings, prints and small paintings that I could sell for very reasonable prices ($30-50), and I've considered sending out a group e mail to friends and associates in the hope that some may be interested in purchasing, or perhaps sending along to friends for purchasing.

I wanted some advice about 1) if this is professional or 2) would it seem like a desperate move? Also, 3) what are other ways to more successfully fund these health costs? Thanks

In practice I have found this very difficult to do - either i don't get circles or the paint is peaking when I take the end of paint brush, stick, q-tip off. any answers appreciated.

When viewing most modern art, art that is less figurative, less representative, how important is the title of the work to you in your assessment of the work’s value? Do you ever feel the title is non-essential, or perhaps thrown in as an afterthought? Do titles, based on your personal viewing experience, often (or perhaps rarely) reflect the message the artist is conveying? Or perhaps it detracts from the paintings itself? Perhaps you feel abstract art doesn't need titles?

More importantly, does the title ever enhance the work, enabling you to better understand where the artist’s life, mind and heart was when the painting (or any other modern art) was being created?

Here is an example. Does the title add to or detract from the value or message the artist has to offer? Does the title fit the painting? Does the title influence how you see the painting and feel what the artist is trying to say?
