The Painting has a "divot" from leaning against the corner of something in storage. Is there a way to remove the push mark without professional work?

I sometimes get this on paintings, and I always barely wet where the push is, with a moist paper towel, and then let dry. It always works for me. :)

Try putting water on the back where the divot is. Get it really wet and hopefully when it dries, the canvas will shrink back and become flat again. If that doesn't work, there are products that you can get at an art supply store that will re-shrink the canvas. Just spray it on the back of the canvas.

If it is just a canvas I am sure from experiance that if you wet the back slightly with water where the bump is and let it dry it will bring it back into shape. This probably would work for a canvas that has been painted too. I don't see why not since oil paints should not be affected by water. Hope this helps. ;)
