but I drew randomly, I drew a spoon, chair, eyes, faces, cartoon any thing I found in front of me because I didn't know where to start.
and now I want to practice on drawing from my mind with out any reference so my question is :
I want to draw these style : comics, cartoon, fantasy and new retro cartoon

but how can I practice on all these styles at one time ?

should I stick with one style?
It seems that I need at least 2 century to be good enough at them all

Imaginarium is a toystore, a museum, and a great many other things around the world, the Spanish toystore,( I think they are Spanish) has trademarked the word, does that mean no one can use it? I'm an aspiring writer and although I was never under the illusion that I made it up exclusively, can I still use it? Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Online, I see old posters that I think are cool looking and I want to draw them, but the thing that seems to be the trouble is that the hair on the people has this weird drawing technique and I can't copy it well. Can anyone tell me how I can draw the same effect? I seen some pictures online that have obviously been manipulated on photoshop, but I can't figure out how to do it. The pic are of real people that kinda cartoonish, but still look realistic and high detail on the skin. Does anyone know the tutorial for this effect?

Here are some completed examples of what I want to do:

As part of of Uni course I have to devise and print a book. I am trying to find the best material to use for the cover. This material has to be very eco-friendly and from a design point of view, it needs to look natural, a sort of canvas material.

I'll draw a picture and I will look perefect when I draw it. I can't see any flaws and when people go to critique it on the front side, they say the eyes and head are crooked. When I turn the per over to the back I can see my flaws and understand what people are talking about. Why is that?
