I mean the buildings and architecture of'em and all that. He can't have drawn'em without any software or something right?

Don't think he would need any software. A ruler, pen and patience, time and attention to detail is all which is needed.

If you didn't want to know the answer why did you ask? It was drawn by hand with a pen or pencil. Simple as that. There are people out there with the talent to do this kind of stuff. In fact, this is a rather crude drawing and really very amateurish.

Escher also did some fantastic things, and without software or computers. The pyramids, the Empire State building and the Parthenon were all built long before computers.
There was life before computers.

3 point perspective (at least 3) and a bit of fisheye, pencil and then inked, oh, and years of practice, I used to work with an illustrator that could do similar work –  rare ability.

If I was being facetious I would say the software was Talent 1.0

No, that's hand done. Takes a LONG time, but it's by hand.
