I scanned one of my drawings to my computer and I want to automatically trace over the lines and add color to specific spots

u can simply use photoshop..
first use the harden edges filter, then trace the parts u want with the non-uniform selection tool or use the magic wand to clear the areas between the edges if it's white, and then either paint the whole part with the bucket but increase the tolerance as it won't be 100% white or use an overlay to make it more realistic if u drew shadings..
