My cameras inbuilt exposure meter only calculates shutter speeds up to 30 seconds long. Anything longer and you have to use bulb mode.

What I want to do is set my camera meter to a very high iso such as 3200 so that I can get a shutter reading for the night scene, and then use this shutter speed to calculate a shutter speed for ISO 100 film.

How do I calculate this?

I hope you understand what I am saying!

thanks

HTML code for picture enlargement?
Hi, I no very little and am trying to build my own web site. I have come a long way and just need to figure one small thing out. I know what I need is done by HTML code, but not sure how. I am looking to put a button or something for a person to be able to enlarge a photo of an item I am selling. I have seen this on a lot of web sites where it says click here to enlarge picture. I sell cookware and need to have the person be able to see a larger image of the item I am selling. I have also seen where if they simply drag their mouse of the thumbnail pic it will enlarge. Would you happen to know how either of these are done. I have don a ton of research with no luck. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank You Soooo much

Hey there, I am an airbrush artist who is looking long and hard to find someone in Ohio who wants to get free temporary tattoos.

I use my Iwata HP-CR and Badger's Totally tattoo paints, if you are willing to get a tattoo please contact me as soon as you can.
I've created a Craigslist ad for this also, http://cleveland.craigslist.org/act/440440318.html

Note: I am in the "Mayfield heights" area.
You can contact me with:
AIM: Hekinsieden
YIM: Hekinsieden
EMail: Brokusan@gmail.com

If you want a certain tattoo we can discuss it before you arrive so I can prepare it for you. The whole process is free and painless, all you need to do is come to my little spray desk.

Here are just a few samples of what I have done before.

Cos I do!

How should I respond? Not everyone cooks me a meal, so it's not always practical to tell them "Oooh. You must have a wonderful oven."

Ultimately, I want to get a DSLR, but they're so dang expensive when you include the lenses... Meanwhile, I'm looking for a good (prosumer range) digital "point-and-shoot" camera until I can better afford something from the SLR world. Basically, my budget is under $500.

There are a few creative controls which I need to have a wide range of (manual) control over as well as automatic settings. In order of importance these controls are: aperture, focus, shutter speed, exposure, and manual zoom. More than anything, I really want the best possible macro capabilities available. And minimal shutter lag. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine. ;)

Could you please point me in the right direction? I'm kind of leaning toward the Nikon Coolpix S10 or something like the Canon PowerShot S2 IS (I really like the swivel screens). Compact is awesome, but full body is okay too.

Thanks for your help. :D

These people are trusting me to do the programs and a little photoshoot a few months before their wedding. The problem is they have never seen my work, and I'm trying to focus a bit on school and making good grades so i can get into a college for photography...

Well the other day I find out that I am to be the main photographer for the entire wedding. Entire. Iam a only sophomore, and I'm so nervous! Like, what if people look down at me, and think I'm going to suck because I'm a teen? What if the pictures don't turn out well....a wedding isn't something you can just redo.

--
On the programs and stuff I will be putting how to contact me for personal photoshoots and etc, does that mean I have to start some kind of a independent company or something?

How can you make a map look antique? A hand-drawn map, not a ready-made one. I saw a few pictures of antique maps, and I thought that the rosy hues for the countries and the yellowish, creased paper looked beautiful. Anybody know how I can
1) make the paper look yellowish and creased?
2) make the countries in pretty colors, yet still have pretty writing on it?

THANK YOU!!!

I came across a few paints of ROBERT NIDY. They were given to me by a neighbor and thought why not resale them. My question is, on the back it saids "Print is photographic reproduction of an orignial painting. If the print is numbered, it is one of a limited edition". In other words mine is not the ORIGINAL but it is "NUMBERED". Do you think I can resell them for a lot of money? Any one into paintings, help is appreciated.

Oh by the way the paintings are titled "across the fields" "fall fields" & "sunset"

Thanks

Does anyone have a clue what font was used on the cover of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer? It was also used in many ads for Hewlett Packard (in way too similar way to J.S.F.'s book cover).

Please help a girl out if you can. Thank you.

I have been in the wedding video/photo business for over 10 years now, and I have NEVER see a professional photographer use anything other than Nikon or Canon. All of our equipment for photography is Canon (40D and 5D) with all L glass lenses, and all of our video equipment is Canon as well...GL2, XL2, etc...

PART 2 of my question is...are all these other companies that make professioanl DSLR's out of luck forever? Like Sony's Alpha, and FujiFilm's Finepix, as well as Olympus, Kodak, and Minolta...do you think they only have a future in the home/amateur based market?

I saw it on the web recently, a photo documented explanation demonstration of why cleaning pennies with vinegar and salt worked the best . There were at least 7 photographs, before and after pictures, very nicely composed. I'm trying to show my students how to make a great visual presentation of their experiments, using the high tech tool of their digital cameras. I can't find that web page now, and failed to fbook mark it. Help me find a quasi professional presentation, of this chemistry experiment, explanation. copper oxide, vinegar, salt, cleaning, are all key words. The explantation should also have a few chemistry oriented formulas, etc.
