I came across a few paints of ROBERT NIDY. They were given to me by a neighbor and thought why not resale them. My question is, on the back it saids "Print is photographic reproduction of an orignial painting. If the print is numbered, it is one of a limited edition". In other words mine is not the ORIGINAL but it is "NUMBERED". Do you think I can resell them for a lot of money? Any one into paintings, help is appreciated.

Oh by the way the paintings are titled "across the fields" "fall fields" & "sunset"

Thanks

Hi! A photographic reproduction is still, unfortunately, a reproduction. It is not an original painting or lithograph, even if it is numbered. Manufacturers and publishers embellish their products, just like any good business, by numbering and/or callling them limited editions, in attempts to enhance and promote their sales. There are 17 assorted Nidy pieces(reproductions) for sale on Ebay presently. I think this will give you a frame of reference and help with your answer:
