It is two separate paintings of the same scene. One shows a man sitting at a bar looking to his right and the other shows a woman sitting at the same bar looking to her left. Gives the illusion that they are staring across at each other. Any ideas?

Sure, they had maintenance people, but did they have specialized talented artists who traveled too, to maintain and keep up with their posters, wagons, lettering etc. If so, was there a nickname for them or some special title?

I'm looking to find a photographer or photography studio that does film noir type photography. The kind of photography they would do for the starletts back in the 30's and 40's for example. Glamour, black & white type.

I love photographing landscapes, but on cold winter mornings my camera jams and the batteries die right in the middle of my shoot. It is very frustrating. Any Tips?

This is the latest one. I call this style sub-symbolism because, although it does contain symbols, these are painted without any conscience clue as to what they will look like until they’re finished.

But I am pretty sure it has something to do with time.

Be honest. Thank you.

He also includes pitures in pictures in his drawings. They're mostly black and white. One of the pictures has a man in it holding a crystal ball and hes in the ball as well.

Please help I love his art.

And if you know him do you know anyone else that does the same kind of stuff?

I want to paint a picture to put in my room. My room has 3 moss green walls and 1 white one. The curtains are off-white and lace with flower designs. My bedspread is a blue/green with faded bunches of flowers. I want something to paint that's not too hard- i like drawing things of nature, like sunsets.. not people though; i don't like drawing so much detail. I want to make an impressionist-style painting.. something thats not ordinary, but unique and nice, kinda bold colors? Thanks

For all the artists out there: When you are working on a piece (music, painting, book, or anything), do you completely visualize what the piece is going to be when you start? If you're drawing or painting, do you know exactly what you want the finished product to look like before you start? If you're writing a song, do you know exactly what the melody and rythm are going to be before you start playing? Or do you just jump right in and see what happens?

I'm so frustrated! I have a degree in art, and I took life drawing but had a horrible instructor. I try to draw my friends and family.... the drawings look good, but they don't resemble the person I'm drawing. I can draw other things realistically, and I really want to be able to do portraits too. Can anyone offer some suggestions?

My price range is between $500 and $800 dollars. I know I will probably need a special flash or lens so if you have any additional information on that I would appreciate it.

I just posted some of my art on Artwanted.com. I have sold some paintings and done juried shows, but this is my first time on the net. A few minutes after I posted, I started getting E-mail from people who liked my work. But I am so critical of myself I decided the mail was fake and I was being set up too buy something. I have heard of fake mail on dating/personals sites to lure people in. but logically I know this is just nice, honest people who like my paintings.I am not suffering from delusions don't worry. I just have this streak in me that is such a critic of my art.Any other creative types here who cannot accept their talent gracefully?
