I wish to use my photo shop software to process my raw file pictures.My Camera is a Fugi S5100.I am a senior so try to make the ansewer not to technical. Al Gladstone

When you take a picture, you have options on how much space it will take up on the memory card. More detail requires more space.
There are lots of options, but the best detail (and biggest file) was invented WAY after Photoshop 4 was released. It's called "raw".

In this case, you are looking for an extra program (or plug-in) that will open up Raw files in Photoshop.

Since the latest versions have this built in, I'm not sure how much luck you will have.
