I have been comparing the prices of D-SLR cameras on ebay, and I'm unsure of the differance between the manufactors lens kit and an aftermarket kit. Are the aftermarket kits compariable quality or shoul I go with the manufactors?

Greetings!

My sister is bi-polar, and she has recently found self-expression via artistic means to be extremely therapeutic. For Christmas, I was hoping that I could provide her with a decent set of supplies so that she may continue this "art therapy."

Can anyone recommend a kit or set of supplies to get her going? Thanks in advance!

How much pressure is used to make the foam? How much foam is really needed? Should I add curves or smudges or lines??? I can't seem to get a handle on this at all. Thank you for any advice.

I am going to be making a quilt (which I have never done before). This is going to be a pretty extensive thing, I'm making it for my final Fibers arts class in college, and I plan on it taking all semester.

Since I have been working on larger watercolours I am finding that I seem to be dropping some of my water on the paper and unfortuntely do not see it until after it dries......leaving of course an imperfect spot; usually in the worst places.........how to I fix this without overworking the paint area?

The images are JPEGS. They're already in order by file name. I'm hoping I can find a program that will just let me quickly select a whole bunch of files and not do too much work. I would like a choice of what video file type it would make and how many frames per second. Ideally, I'd also like to convert the resolution of the images, but I can do that with a separate program if I have to. It would be nice if the program was available for a free and legal download.

Doing an a level project and ive have a final outcome but no photographers or artists that i should have researched before hand. My photos are black and white prints of a young boys face with harsh, dramatic lighting. Half of the face you cannot see due to shadow. I have scratched onto the print text such as 'when will al this end?', 'i just want someone to talk to' and 'why don't they just listen?' making the images quite depressing. The overall theme is Portraiture. Does anyone know of any photographers or artists that could relate to this work??? Please please please help me, thank you so much xx
