Visual Arts - December 2006

I just started painting with water-mixable oil paints. Getting the paint from my brushes is a breeze (comes out with soap & water). The palette?? Not so simple. I can't seem to clean it completely. Other than using turpentine (which aggravates my asthma), is there anything I can use to get the wooden palette completely clean?

looking for sterling silver or thai silver mostly. i would like them to be BOX clasps, which are very difficult to find, in my experience.

is there a supplier online that carries there and/or makes them?

theyre usually wooden with metal flexable arms/legs/neck and used for sketching...i need to find pictures of sketches for a tattoo design.

I am going to be using a heavy plastic round mold (man in the moon) and am wondering if before pouring plaster into mold, should I spray surface with PAM to make removal of figure easier or will it compromise the surface and/or plaster consistency? Your suggestions are really appreciated! Happy Holidays!

What is the best for making digital drawings/paintings. Money is not an obeject. I am just looking for something that I can get into and easily sketch and color.

i seen a pic and sumbody was in it, and they took theirself out of the background and put them in a new one, i dont know how to get myself out of one pic and put me in another without completely moving the original background, too. how do i do this? i am using paint shop pro 7.
