no particular name for it. they represent the "two sides" of theatre - comedy and tragedy, and therefore are just called drama faces.

"In fact, the two masks associated with drama with the smiling and frowning faces are both symbols of the Muses Thalia and Melpomene. Thalia is the Muse of comedy (the smiling face), and Melpomene is the Muse of tragedy (the frowning face)."

The ancient greeks wore masks when they performed theater. those masks are representations of that: the greek comedy/tragedy masks.
