I want to start doing some extremely detailed sculptures at home.
What is the best kind of clay I can use to get the desired result. I also need something that can dry on it's own without a kiln.

After you finished paint, do you put your signature on it? How do you do that? What kind of material I have to use?

Does anyone have any information on Bernadette Lambrecht, the Belgian artist ? I have relatives that have an original artwork of hers (a soft sculpture relief of multiple pears from 1970). Anyway, we don't know much about her, or how much the piece might be worth, and we are quite curious. Thanks.

I have a film production company, Perpetual Motion, Inc., and I need some help with the logo. I have a glowing infinity sign shown here
http://www.thehaxor.net/images/glowing-infinity-sign.jpg. Then I want Perpetual on top of the sign and then Motion, Inc. underneath. What do you think of that? Is there any color of the font that I should use or is there any special font I should use??? I would love your suggestions.

I am a British student hoping to study in the States next year. I will need around 5,000GBP to do this. (I study fine art also known as visual arts).

I plan to work part time and sell some of my possessions on eBay.

Please could anyone else tell me if there is anywhere I could apply for sponsorship?

I also want to set up a site for my friends to donate money - even if it's only a pound it all helps!

Thanks in advance for all sensible answers.

i have seen lots of art with seemingly pleasant picture in the main body, but if you look close up you can see images of terrible things blended in to look like shading.it seems that the original artwork must be quite large to achive the detail involved in masking theese "subleminal images".however i'm more concerned with the "intent" of the images.are the devices to cause viewers to feel or act in a certain mannor? does this hidden imagery really work?i've heard of advratisments for alcohol using seductive women in the shading of ice cubesand such;but the images in some generaly non comercial art seem to be geared towards death and malice.who would want to subject us too this material if indeed it could affect our perceptions?are certain people more suseptable than others, like with hypnosis?should i be worried,or take steps to protect myself or family?

I looked all over the internet for this poster. It portrays Kennedy with his head down and below him, on the floor i think, was a medium sized campaign banner. Most likely the picture was taken during his campaign and i saw it somewhere on a Discovery documentary years ago.. Does any one know which poster it is?

I am doing a science project. I have to make a pinhole camera. That's all fine, except I just recently (as in two minutes ago) went online to the place from which I planned to order the photo paper, and it turns out THEY DON'T MAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!
If someone would please recommend a brand that makes photographic paper suitable for a pinhole camera, preferably 5 by 7, but any size will work. And this is not printer paper, this is paper that I will actually develop myself.
There was one website I went to and it said that you could also use regular film, but I have no idea how I would develop it. Would someone please tell me, if there are no photographic papers that I can use (in the US-i looked on the Ilford website, and apparently they only sell in the UK), how I woud go about developing the regular roll of film?

seem to come up with an answer. Just what makes "great art?" Norman Rockwell is considered by all to be "great," but, at least as far as I know, he is not considered to be a "great artist." Why do we ---- and me too ----- love paintings that show figures somewhat distroted? So, what is "great art?" I know it when I see it, but don't know WHY I think it is "great art." Any thoughts on this Christmas day?
