I have a film production company, Perpetual Motion, Inc., and I need some help with the logo. I have a glowing infinity sign shown here
http://www.thehaxor.net/images/glowing-infinity-sign.jpg. Then I want Perpetual on top of the sign and then Motion, Inc. underneath. What do you think of that? Is there any color of the font that I should use or is there any special font I should use??? I would love your suggestions.

Take a tip from the big guys - MacDonald's, Kodak, Burger King, Wendy's, Hard Rock Cafe, Shell Oil, even Superman - Red and Yellow stands out above all others. It would also look great with that symbol.

Keep the font clean and simple - something with a forward slant would accentuate the concept of Motion.

Umm.. I think that you want your logo to appeal to everyone, not just girls or not just guys or not just a certain group of people who like this or that color. I think that you should go with "Perpetual" on top of your logo in sort of a wavy bluish-grayish color, and sort of in a wavy text.. underneath can be a picture of maybe a very calm ocean or something soothing to the eye, (after all, when someone sits to watch a movie the last thing they want is for the logo to be more outrageous than the movie!). Underneath the picture, you can add "Motion, Inc." on the bottom (as you wanted), and then at the end you can add a little magic to the font like at the end of a Disney Movie when Tinker bell comes and she waves her wand and there's a site of pixie dust, you can add something like that.

If you want to get an attention, grabber the best colors are purple and pink!!You do know that perpetual is a state of calmness right. How about,a glowing sign in the shape of a cloud, then the perpetual sign,in pink out line with the color purple-on top, following the motion sign in the color, purple out lined with the color pink!!! OH AND GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hey, like your idea and I think that whatever the color of the font you choose should be a compliment to the artwork. In addition, unless you have a catch phrase or tag line with the company name in it, you might consider the font you choose to be somewhat readable. Otherwise, just have fun with it. Furthermore, your company name is a winner.

Perpetual… (Continuous, Everlasting, Uninterrupted, Unending, Eternal) Motion!

Best of luck!

try using the 2 ugliest colors you can find, then make them neon. or you could have perpetual motion device instead of just a symbol as well
