i have seen lots of art with seemingly pleasant picture in the main body, but if you look close up you can see images of terrible things blended in to look like shading.it seems that the original artwork must be quite large to achive the detail involved in masking theese "subleminal images".however i'm more concerned with the "intent" of the images.are the devices to cause viewers to feel or act in a certain mannor? does this hidden imagery really work?i've heard of advratisments for alcohol using seductive women in the shading of ice cubesand such;but the images in some generaly non comercial art seem to be geared towards death and malice.who would want to subject us too this material if indeed it could affect our perceptions?are certain people more suseptable than others, like with hypnosis?should i be worried,or take steps to protect myself or family?

Fine Art (as opposed to commercial art) is a form of personal expression. You'd have to check into the artist's brain to know the true intent, wouldn't you?

I think art like this doesn't have enough mass appeal in order to have any effect on even the weakest person's subconscious.

If subversion is something you like to worry about, look into the desk drawers of your local politicians - you'll be far more horrified by what you find in there.
