I was watching a TV show about selling houses and one of the realtors stated that yellow makes people want to spend money. I am doing some advertizing on my bussiness and would like to know what colors I should use.

Yes, yellow promotes money spending, it also tends to make people hungry and more creative.

It depends, though, on what you're advertising. The colors have to work with your theme. Such as, you wouldn't use bright red to sell meditative products or foodstuffs. Blue produces calmness. Green suggests finances. Purple is great for meditation and creativity, and suggests royalty.

Make sure, along with your colors, that your spelling is correct. That will turn people away quickly while advertising your business.

It depends on the situation but in most cases Red would be the color to inform people of a good thing to spend they're money on.

People commonly relate red with alerts, financial breakdown or sales. I think if it is a 2D graphics it's important to have red somewhere to inform customer of a great way to spend they're money. =] Good Luck with your advertising!
