i'm a recent graduate, and was helping a mate in a restaurant with some chalkboards, she suggested i came up with some prices to follow up my ideas for future graphic boards for the company, but i do not know what to charge. its the 'usual', they give me the initial written design ideas and design the type and imagery and then create. where do i start with pricing-HELP-!!

I am an amateur photographer, looking to enter any kind of photography contests to recieve some recognition, possibly get my name known somewhere besides my little town. Do you know of any photography contests going on that I could enter? Prefer free entries, and I can submit photos electronically or standard film. Contests need to be open for Canadian citizens as I liev in Saskatchewan.

I've been using one lab that I've been relatively happy with (sort of) but who charges for all the photos I upload. There are more and more labs getting into this now, and I want to find another reliable lab with all the same options (allows clients to view all the photos, and also to place and receive orders directly from the lab) with no fee to me for uploading. What lab do you use, and what's your experience with them?

when i take the picture i look in the mirror . and i look at the screen of the camera when im done taking the picture and it shows a big glare where my camera is. why does it do that and what can i do to take it off

I have used fotango.com for many years and they have decided to close.
They have suggested using photobox.co.uk but you have to buy more space from them to keep or share your photos.

I have an old photo of my great grandfather but the frame was dropped years ago (facedown) and the glass broke. Now it is stuck to the photo. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I tried scanning it on my computer and going into a photo program to delete the glass shadows but it didn't work. Please help.
