when i take the picture i look in the mirror . and i look at the screen of the camera when im done taking the picture and it shows a big glare where my camera is. why does it do that and what can i do to take it off

The camera on the flash is going off. Just turn it off and your camera will compensate for the light and allow you to photograph yourself in the mirror without any problem.
You can try turning on just the overhead lighting also without a flash to get a photo of yourself.

You must be using flash which bounces back from the mirror. Try it without the flash but make sure the room is bright.........

Turn off the flash.
