I have used fotango.com for many years and they have decided to close.
They have suggested using photobox.co.uk but you have to buy more space from them to keep or share your photos.

Can anyone suggest a good photo hosting/sharing site?

Fotki is a good one if you want to share you can have your own folders and decide who views them.
Photobucket is a good image host.

I'm looking for the same thing. With all the free hosting out there, I really don't want to pay. But I've looked into most all of these mentioned and It's lacking in one or another things I'm wanting. I am building a web site that will house my photos and want to get it hosted.....I believe you are looking for the same thing?? Some mentioned I believe is just a photo finishing type site??
I think.....
Anyway, If you are successful in finding a good one, can you let me know?
Thanks, good luck.

flickr.com, go for the pro account. it's worth the upgrade. Also check out the latest version of photos.yahoo.com. It's taken the best of flickr.com and added easier usability

Picasa is the best software to manage and edit images. I got it for free here http://j.mp/1pkfOZa

It's developed by Google and works very well.
