A real awesome tree line, A sun set, A child doing something, An animal, Use some imagination, I've got a great one of my son from a few years ago i LOVE. He's just sitting there looking at the camera and he gives me the "I Love You" sign, I keep it where i can see it everybody compliments me on it.

Anything that could benefit from the increased contrast.Like a landscape.The desert or a mountain.Ansel Adams did nothing but black and white landscapes and he made loads of money at it.

When I took a photography class we had to do portraits...I found taking pix of the human form was awesome...my friend and my children posed for me...I was plesantly surprised with the results...I got an A on the assignment...

Take a picture of something you normally associate with color. For instance if you immediately think GREEN when you hear the word GRASS, then maybe you should take a picture of a grassy field and find out what makes it grass besides its color.

An extreme close up of a childs eyes, or a pet's eyes. Get some interesting reflection in them that you can make out the details of.
