I enjoy talking with you, you always seem to put a smile on my face, you seem to bring out my personality that few people see. There is never a dull moment when we talk. I can't wait till we actually meet, well I can wait for a little while, like till next week. I just hope that another girl does not capture your interest before then. I know that I will be more nervous than you, but just for about a minute. You're intriguing but I look forward to hearing from you again. Have a nice day tomorrow!

I have been wondering today about the significance of this life. Being born, live and then die, lose everything. Why is this life? Confuses me!Why this pain and suffering; death and seperation? Why do we have this sense to feel? Why don't we just get born, live and die, without feeling anything, no pain nothing.Who are you god?A creator. What about if we, humans, decypher the elements we are made of and create life;like machines we've created.Do we become 'God',God? Confounds me!
Who is the first creator, and how did the first 'God' originated?
We are living, just following the protocol of life defined by the creator.
Is someone playing a game of our lives;like we play games in computers where we create characters and play with their lives, make them do what we want and then terminate them. Only in our case we have the sense to feel, feel the pain and heartaches.Isn't it cruel, god?
Just because u created life,is it rightful for the creator to terminate the creation, life?
still wondering...

In the bible Solomon was given a wish from God, who said Solomon could wish for anything. Solomon chose wisdom.

Apparently he needed it because he didn't wish for original sin to have never happened. But seriously, why didn't he wish for that?

Please don't say, "Because the bible is a pack of lies for a pack of dogs." That kind of thing gets very old.

PlEAse READ!!! My family thinks I'm mentally ill. How can I prove them wrong?

I'm 19, a young lady. I think that this may be a break true. It's been months I've been a little out of it. Many things don't interest me like they use to and the past gets to me. Stress causes me to become very emotionally sensitive at times. Low confidence, bored, lack of energy. In my point of view my cousin gave up in life because of certain events that happened in his life, not because he has a mental illness like anxiety. People create anxiety when they label things and thing negatively. My dad hasn't worked in years. He feels helpless and that life is not in his control. Society didn't give him a chance and so did himself. These people are pessimistic. I'm optimistic. That's how I see it. They gave up and allowed others to label them. They were defined by society and not themselves. Life isn't easy and they didn't have people around to guide them. I get depressed, angry, cold and distant because people have hurt me in the past.

Now I can not move on thinking that my family thinks that there is something wrong with me. Many of them are blind to see that I am just a human being that has not let go of the past. People have the will to change. I CHOSE to be bitter and angry, I could chose to be happy and interpret things positively.

In a world like this, peer pressure, it's easy to think that there is something wrong with you. People are ready to sell medication or do surgical procedures all for MONEY!! That mentally ill talk is BS. Many experienced psychologists know it.

I have a fear to move on because of the past. I can not do this overnight! I have to talk about it as much as I can.

"I wish my weed was emo so it would cut itself"

I don't do drugs and I don't think its cool do them. I also feel bad for people who cut themselves, and am not making fun of anyone, emo or not. I just heard this quote and it made me laugh. What do you think?

did learning and dtermining whether there existed an objective reality that existed independently from your self play a big role in philosophy? or was stuff like external world skepticism and solipsism just hypothetical philosophies that realy didnt play a significant role in anything.what are your opinions on those 2 subjects? arent they pretty much disregarded as false and farfetched subjects?

I consider myself to be an intelligent guy.I'm no genius, but I'm a little above average.I've been coming to a point in my life where I'm losing my will to philosophize.I'm not against the work of philosophers, but I'm one of those people that would rather enjoy the here and now,and I don't feel the need for a well-constructed meaning in life.I actually feel awkward when I try to,and feel like a fool.I just want to live my life just for the hell of it...instead of asking questions I'll probably never find the answer to.I'm very apathetic to intellectual progress. It all seems so futile for me to be a part of it.Socrates said,"The unexamined life is not worth living."(Well,at least that's what Plato wrote.)I really don't hold as much importance on it all. We're all in the end,ignorant...which brings mind another Socrates quote.I think maybe we should take ourselves a bit more lightly, laugh, and have a good time. This might sound like an "everyman" answer, but it just seems right for me.

its called "walk away"

I don't want to hear it,
so just stop!
Close your mouth,
and just walk away,
even if it's just for the day,
at least I'll have some serenity,
without having to be pestered by you.
Can't you see,
I don't sympathize,
the words that come out of your mouth,
they seems like gibberish.
Trying to comprehend what you enunciate,
feels like,
I'm trying to understand bird talk.
I've tried so hard,
to understand you,
but it's just not functioning.
Maybe some other day,
I'll finally get you,
but for now,
please just let it be,
and walk away.

What is it about adulthood that makes us willingly give up the things of youth? Are we forced to do so by others or do we shed it like an old skin.

Why must we be corupted by cinisim and hate as we grow? Why must we give up the wide eyed youthful wonder, the belief in the impossible, the hope for 'something better' as it were just because we hit a certain age?

What is it about ourselves or our society that makes this something to long for instead of shy away from?

Please don't just give a two word answer, this may require some thought to explain.

Thanks in advance.
