The ultimate goal of all the human beings should be happiness. Happiness in doing anything you do whether helping a friend in the smallest possible way or buying a pack of biscuits for the least privileged children.
Happiness does not mean to buy a car or a luxiurious house. This certainly gives us happiness but for certain time period only.
Happiness is something which one feels after solving a small difficulty of his\her brothers or sisters. It is felt after helping & sharing anything with anyone for a good cause.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, love you neighbor as yourself." The ultimate goal of a human being is to glorify God and to love Him and be loved by Him. This is what we were created for. In loving God you are also supposed to love people like yourself. One day you will be with Him for eternity. It is good to get to know Him before you get there otherwise you may never get there. Just remember God loves you more than anyone else on this entire earth. I can promise you this much. That doesn't mean life is going to be easy once you meet Him but in every problem you will always know He is with you and will be there for you unlike people.

I've pondered this question for a long time myself, and I found the best answer through reading Charles Dicken's work, A Tale of Two Cities. I believe the point that Dickens brings out with this novel, that human life is pointless if you can't gain the love of anyone else and if you can't make a difference in anyone's life.

Whoever he or she may be the goal in general is to be wealthy, healthy and worth in natural qualities and character of good and share your care, wear and mare to your own comfort, have luxuries and be away from necessaries and struggle for survival. In simple be a crorepathi or a billionair with a mind of serving the humanity and common man in the world and help the needy in need.

Eat and drink.
Make merry.
All other thing are useless. In book of Philosopher in The Bible he says " I am a king, have a lot of women, wine, wealth, jewels, lands, livestock and every thing else a person desires in life. But all is useless. Having goals in life is useless, all is useless.

this is the temperory resident and we have to do something and get our prize in the heaven...
evry day is a like a blank cheque which is given by God.. we have to use that and get paid according to our hard work....
somebody born great,
somebody gets that
it fixes(greatness) on some body
last but not least in life until our last day we should no onething " know who u are and what u are doing"
st.Paul says he struggled the life and he completed his life well, His reward is waiting for him..
same way my dear friend, you should be a son to ur parents, husband to ur wife, brother to ur siblings, etc...
if u do ur roles perfect and then atlast u will get peace..

L-Live purposefully.
I-Involve generously.
F-Fight intelligently.
E-End victoriously.
so the goal is "do good things to the world so that u r happily invited by the ultimate"

first of all we have got only one life and we have to live it fully...but that doesn't mean we should do something just because we eenjoy doing it......but as for me the ultimate goal is love...love everyone....not many remember tata birla...not many remember great film stars..but all of us remember mother terasa that is the power of love and affection....shower your love on everyone....your name will be uttered even ages after your time....
