welcome to self-awareness. you've always know you're alive, but now you've become aware of it.
thats a tough question but i think it has an easy answer, to me at least.
Does God have the right to terminate the life he created? Do you have the right to eat that sandwich you created? Or are you, because you created it, forever obligated to protect and care for it?
Lets pretend you don't like my rhetorical question. lets say that you build and program a robot in your garage. it can see through face-mounted camera eyes, and is equipped with touch sensors all over its body. it is capable of distinguishing pain from pleasure by the degree of pressure applied or the surface area affected. it is equipped with practically every other sense we are capable of feeling. can you control or monitor it through a panel in the kitchen, and it has never seen you. you've programmed it so well that it is capable of logically choosing out of a variety of options given. lets say you ask it "would it bother you if i turned you off and never turned you back on again?" it has the capacity to think and decide to respond "yes," "no," or "i don't care." it can think logically and creatively, but nowhere near the extent to which you can. it has never seen you, and never left or seen outside the garage but you have left clues to suggest, but not prove, that you exist. it cannot fully comprehend your existence. so lets say, after 5 years of owning this robot, the maintenance has become to much, and now that a child has been brought into your family, you no longer have time to properly watch over it.
do you have the right to shut it down forever through the control panel in the kitchen? or are you obligated to protect and watch over it forever because you created it?

God. The meaning of life. The ultimate question. Hard.
In my theory it is search for something deeper, something metaphysical, something that has meaning, that is what is behind the pyscies of all humans. You may notice that every human culture anywhere on this earth has some relgion. It is that which they share in common. All humans want to find The Answer. That in itself is the Answer and you just have to put up with what you come up with in your search.
In my opinion it is superfulous to think about god, or to create a god, because the omnimponent being will be more based in the human mind and expeierence then being a metaphysical being will allow.
If you do however, plan on keep searching then may the force be with you, you'll definetly need it.

Nothing is perfect in this world. Christ never stay long to impart his knowledge to be include in the bible. Buddha refuse to talk about the starting and ending of life on earth. Everything is created with a flaw, including you.
Everything that starts with a birth, decay along the way and finally die. This is the law governing all things and events. First our problem was born. As you tried to solve it, it starts to decay and weakens. Finally you make your problem die by providing a solution. Same with events. Same with all living beings.
Life is a white piece of paper. What you write onto it, it will be your life.

Why is this life?
To learn, grow, overcome adversities,
To wonder at beauty: an inspiring sunset, the veins of a leaf, the feel of a snowflake, the sharp intake of breath in deep cold,
To enjoy a sneeze, a deep belly laugh, a warm bath, plush fabrics, lotions of silk,
To deeply appreciate: the birth of a child, a child's first smile, first word, first hesitant step, discovery of shapes and abilities,
To deeply feel: love, wonder, awe, gratitude, humility, appreciation, as well as pain and fear,
To truly live to the fullest each moment of each day,
To hear crescendoes of an orchestra, harmony of melodies, vibrato of rich voices, solo, duet, trio, full choir, the heartfelt response to the beauty of compositions,
To delight in the questions from curious minds and creative thoughts.
What a privilege it is to live. Thank You, dear G-d for giving all of us life and the ability to know and do, think and feel, and not to judge others. Truly You are awe-inspiring.

That's where your pain comes from: You're still clinging to the idea that there's a God somewhere. Step back for just a moment and entertain the notion that there is no God. If you don't find clarity, you aren't going to find it from some pretentious man in a fancy bathrobe on Sunday.

There is loss, and pain, death and separation but there is also birth and happiness, joy, reunion, only not everyone enjoys them in the same measure.
Now if you say there was never a moment of joy or happiness in your life then I would say to you try to have better luck in your next life.

Uh, I really don't believe in God, so yeah...But we are created, and we're just a part in the cycle of living a "life" it does seem confusing, so you must think, "Why are we even alive for?" Well it's just the way it is and here we are.

Dude, you need to drink more. Come over to my place, and we'll take a ride to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and get plastered. You know the saying:
"If I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roarin' Friday night!!!!"

Don't ask yourself why- ask yourself why not? Now is the time to go on your own personal spiritual journey. Explore and learn and come up with your own answers- not something spoonfed to you, or where you've been brainwashed.
