Don't be so apologetic. Some people are too nice. If someone bumps into you (clearly their fault) do you still apologize? Well stop! When you make a mistake, then own up to it, but don't constantly say you're sorry & allow people to walk all over you. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are the best friend you'll ever have so be nice to you! Love yourself! Focus on your strengths. Self-confidence can be learned. Don't refer to yourself as weak. You just have some learning & growing to do. We are all works in progress.
There are a lot of arrogant people out there. The fact that you are humble is beautiful. Just don't go too far & let people take advantage of your kindness. Be assertive. Stand up for yourself. Respect yourself & others will respect you.
There are a lot of helpful books on improving self-esteem & building confidence. Other concrete things you can do are to take care of yourself. Exercise & eat right. Dress well. If you take pride in your appearance, if you look & feel good that alone helps to boost your confidence.

Descartes, a famous philosopher, stated a very popular phrase. I think therefore I am. That means allot to me. It is very simple yet carries so much meaning and insight. Basically, your thoughts creates and releases forms of energy. The energy you create for yourself will act accordingly. When you are constantly thinking that you are doing something wrong, or being apologetic for everything you do, your actions will reflect that. People pick up on it and react accordingly. Usually a poor self confidence will make people less likely to listen to your opinion. Make it harder for you to get a job, people are less attracted to people with low self esteem and so on. When you think positivley about yourself, you will naturally act more confident and people will notice and respect you more. Now keep in mind, there is a difference between confident and cocky. You need to have assurance in your personal strengths without ignoring or denying other peoples strengths. If you can do that, you will be much more successful, respected and happy in your life.

Have a self motto.... such as I'm a good person and deserve the best. Say this to yourself several times a day and you'll start believing it!! As far as being apologetic to everything apologize only when you have done something or said something wrong and it has upset someone....if you can't control the outcome then don't apologize.

first, every time you wake up in the morning take a big breath and think positive. That will get you going for the day. Try new things, like sports, activities, maybe community service, that will help you improve your self esteem. Try to meditate, it helps your brain be at peace. Be POsitive about everything even when you are your worse!! you can do it , it just takes time and power of the will . GO FOR IT !!

think positive always smile be nice, but live your own life. Eat good work and get along but dont apoligize unless its your fault if at times you find yourself in a mood. Think of some thing you like to do but be sure to be polite and smile.

Be grateful for these positives, and acknowledge and validate them. They are just as real as our negatives, and absolutely make us much more self-confident.
