i believe there is only so much we can control and that frustrates me sometimes (success in life depends either on a person's exceptional IQ, looks, finances in the family, etc - some of the things you really can't change as much as you'd like to enjoy life the way you want to).

All traces of ones presence here on earth will vanish for most people in say 20 - 50 years. In 100 years you may as well not have existed at all.

Are we not just fooling ourselves into thinking that our lives are important? Surely our lives are no more important than a single grain of lifeless sand on a beach.

Dont you agree that this is true?

what would the world be like if everyone walked around backwards instead or forwards(like the whole world does now) would there be special police officers potroling to the streets to cut down on people wlaking into each other? would you still drive forwards or would that be backward too. how hard would it actually be to live?

from time immorial this world is intigued with the question of peace and asking answers for endind turmoil in this world. till date there is none . do we believe there is no solution? i don't subscribe to to this. introduce yoga at universal level and that is the only solution and as well salvation for the the word at large.

We all know that Vastu is being made popular. People modify their houses as per the suggestions made by Vastu Shashtragnas. If we accept for a while that problems get solved by such modifications. Then my question is why not contact these people to get assembled at one place and think about eliminating the misery, problems from the wolrd just by changing the planetary position of our planet. Why do accidents occurs to the vehicles that have undergone 'Puja'. Why do building get damaged even after doing 'bhomi pooja' with enchanting all mantras? Is it not the fact that World over buildings are constructed without doing 'bhoomi pooja' but still they remain intact. Think for a while and answer?

I'm a philosophy major, and all the books that I read are difficult. I mean is it possible to actually understand these books? Did I choose the wrong major? I have to finish my master's thesis anyways. How can I manage this?
