Yes, it is better to be blind towards other people's private possessions and faults.... by seeing these we would only torture and sully ourselves.

Is it good to be able to see?
People who see can see refuse doing something good to what evil is present in the world...
If that were the case, would it be better to be blind?

Better to be blind than what? Just in general so you don't judge by appearance or something? Or rather be blind than deaf, mute, etc.? I don't know what you mean. But I would prefer to have all my senses in tact.

I wish I was. Born blind, that is. Not rip-my-eyes-out-OEdipus-style blind, but never to have seen everything that this world has to show me because in reality, we are all blind to the real world.

no.at least being not blind lets u see good and bad.but if u think being blid will prevent u from seeing the bad stuff happening in the world and in the humanity,what about hearing?what about sensing when u're kidnapped or tortured or when ur parents are killed?or when u r betrayed?at least vision lets u see and know ur enemy,his power,his weapons,thank God.

That would depend on how ugly the girl I'm waking up next to is > coyote ugly means you chew off your arm rather than wake her! If she is as hot in the morning as she was in the bar at closing time, then no.
