Is higher consciousness necessarily a good thing ??
After all, the lower animals are not conscious of
the fact that they will die. They can know pain, but
they do not know their final fate, as we do.
Like they say.. " It's a dog's life "

Have you heard of the phrase "Trust no one?" Well, how many people in your day-to-day lives do you actually trust?

Perhaps I'm being a bit cinical, but the older I get, the more often I've seen my trust being completely violated. What exactly do these people value in their lives if not the trust of their fellow man? Why do people in today's society feel the need to "conquer or be conquered," rather than "love thy neighbor as thyself."?

God Bless

It suddenly occured to me just now in answering someone else's question. How do we know that God exists when there is just as much 'proof' for the existance of the Greek and Norse Gods.

Surely anyone who says "This proves God exits" could just as easily say "Odin did this" or "Jupiter did this". How does one know that what you worship is what is doing the miracles?

We are tought in school that humans came form apes/neanderthals/Homo sapiens. But what about Adam and Eve......they evolved from neanderthals? God made man/woman, why does school teach us that we evolved from apes or whatever?
